Save the Children challenged us to create their organization’s web site and make it a highly effective channel for fundraising.
We developed the first site ever to offer child sponsorship online featuring a searchable database and online credit card sign-up. We continued to build and manage the site for five years, adding an online store with over 100 merchandise items. For emergencies, we put up complete sub-sites within hours. The site grew to over 500 pages, attracting new donors and sponsors, as well as serving media and professional communities.
The web site created a new fundraising stream, profitable in the first year and every year thereafter, with millions of dollars raised. It was recognized with a Non-Profits Online Award for Fundraising.
